Jack Shanahan is a Berklee College Schooled Musician. He is a
multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter that plays
guitar, drums, bass and trumpet.Jacks passion and dedication started in high school when he won the
" Luis Armstrong Jazz Award".He has been awarded six times by Billboard Magazine for his
songwriting abilities. ‘97, ‘05, ’07 & ‘08. His band
has been nominated several times by the "Phoenix Magazine"
music
poll, and has three full-length CD’s to date. The second album
“Triple” produced by John Ryan (Styx, Santana).
Jack
currently shares his passion and talent performing and educating
students of all ages.For the past 12 years, Jack has taught privately and has founded
the "Beginners Group Guitar Program" which focuses on beginners
of all ages starting at age 7.This program has flourished since its introduction in 2004 and
has upwards of 20 classes to date.In addition to his weekly students, Jack also runs week-long
“Rock School” and “Drum Line” workshops that gives students a
sneak peak into performing with rock bands and marching corps.These hands-on experiences reinforce and enhance the skills
taught in lessons throughout the year.
